Letting Policy

The Emmanuel Centre Management Company LTD Letting Policy

  1.  We require written confirmation that you have a Safeguarding Policy (please attach a copy to the booking form when you return it) and that all adults working with children/young people outside of the control of their parents/guardians have undertaken current Department Baring Services (DBS) checks.
  2. Refreshments can only be served in the Coffee Bar unless agreed otherwise in advance with the Emmanuel Management Company.
  3. No gambling or alcoholic drinks are allowed on the premises.
  4. Smoking is not permitted in the premises.
  5. The Hall and rooms shall normally be vacated by 9.45pm. Permission for an extension of hours for quiet activities (such as quiet worship) must be obtained in advance before the event takes place and will only be granted in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Emmanuel Management Company.
  6. The Church may terminate a regular letting with one months notice, or immediately if the rooms are being misused.
  7. Users are responsible for any damage caused to the premises or furnishings.
  8. Payment for the use of the rooms at the agreed terms should be made to the Emmanuel Management Company. Cheques should be made payable to “Emmanuel Centre Management Company LTD”.
  9. All groups hiring the Hall or rooms must complete and sign the “Emmanuel Centre- Public Liability Insurance Declaration” and return it with the booking form.
  10. All groups hiring the rooms and/or Hall must agree to abide by these conditions.
